Speaking of Fall…..

As I write this the air is crisp (finally!!), the leaves are just beginning to change and I am thinking about all the delicious food to come. You will notice that our menu changes with the seasons.I can’t help myself, I love to cook with the freshest, best ingredients available.
I started with Pumpkin Cider Bisque last week and will continue to add new menu items with fresh seasonal ingredients. Stuffed Acorn Squash, Beef Stew, different kinds of chili, but don’t worry, we will still have lots of salad choices with new seasonal dressings because healthy choices are just as important ! Like one of our specials and want the recipe ? Just ask, I am always happy to share.

Inspiration is everywhere ! People ask me all the time, where do I get my ideas ? Often I can tell them more often I’m not sure myself.
Fall is especially inspiring to me. I love it! Growing up in Vermont, I had a front seat to all the beauty and magic.
I know that Pumpkin is the flavor of the moment and I get it. I’m even thinking Thai Coconut Pumpkin Soup. But there is so much more to this season. Apples, Cider, Squash, Maple, so much inspiration ! So take a look at our specials in the next month or two and enjoy the flavors of fall.
